Argon Corporation Now Fully MH-60S (AMCM) Qualified for our ARD19

ARD19, Lockheed Martin

Alpharetta, Georgia – Argon Corporation, designing and manufacturing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) rugged display monitors and computers, is pleased to announce that our ARD19 rugged display has successfully passed all qualification testing, including environmental, EMI, Electrical/ESD and NVIS Compliance, in support of the U.S. Navy end user for the MH60S Airborne Mine Counter Measures (AMCM) mission. The ARD19 is now an MH-60 qualified unit.

This application required a very specific set of mounting and functional requirements, which Argon demonstrated we could meet. The Argon solution was based on a similar product, the ARD20, 20.1” rugged display, which had completed a full suite of Environmental and Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) qualification testing for other airborne applications. Leveraging off this experience, Argon was able to successfully demonstrate a design which passed the extreme requirements, particularly vibration, of this rotary wing platform.

Comments Mike Forde, Chief Operating Officer Argon, “This unit will provide not only Lockheed Martin, but all of our customers, with qualified rugged Command & Control (C&C) units for some of the toughest environments that the military market has to offer. This design will serve the market for years to come. We appreciate the opportunity that Lockheed Martin has provided Argon to support such a critical program, and application. We look forward to our continued good working relationship.”
